The material sensitive to the MQ-4 gas sensor used in the conductivity of clean air is a lower tin dioxide (SnO2). When the sensor is present in the environment in which the combustible gas is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the concentration of combustible gases in the air. The use of a simple circuit can be converted to the change in the conductivity of the gas concentration with the corresponding output signal. MQ-4 methane gas sensor for high sensitivity, propane, butane and has good sensitivity. The sensor can detect a variety of flammable gases, especially natural gas, it is a low-cost sensor for a variety of applications.

Module Features:

Electrical properties:

Input voltage: DC5V power (current): 150mA

DC output: digital TTL 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)

AC output: 0.1-0 .3 V (relatively clean), the highest voltage concentration around 4V

Special note: the sensor is on, it needs to be heated around 20S, the measured data is stabilized, the sensor fever is a normal phenomenon, due to the internal heating cable if the heat is not normal.
